Update 30th May 2021
We are now meeting back in church every week at 10:45, social distancing and other precautions are being taken. You can book to attend chapel online or we do have spare seats set aside if you just want to turn up on Sunday morning.
Coronavirus Update [see update above]
The leadership has spent some time discussing how we could continue to “worship” together and in light of the government’s recommendations, unfortunatley we will not be physically gathering in church on Sundays until further notice, but we will be doing our church services online. We will still worship together on Sundays; the only difference is that we will all be in our homes and online, together in spirit.
We plan to hold a virtual Sunday service at 10.45am for approximately half an hour. The service will be recorded and streamed through a link on our website here. There will be a short talk / sermon, prayers , reading and some music. We hope to make this interactive – and so you can send texts in during the service. This will help keep us connected and spiritually fed. Please join us on Sunday!
Some positive news, we are pleased to be able to tell you that Nic feels it is right to delay his departure from us and stay in Tarporley and support both our church family and wider community during this period.
This offer has been accepted by the church and the baptist union. Therefore Nic is around to provide spiritual support for anyone who needs or would like this. The Leadership team of the chapel will also be playing their part and can offer support to our community both practically and spiritually.
Please do contact the chapel if you need someone to talk to – or some milk and bread dropped off! Our contact page is here.
The chapel will be open every day if people wish to go in and have some quiet time reflecting and praying. However we ask that people wash their hands on entering and leaving the chapel.
